BSE is an industry leader in envelope design, manufacturing and printing. We are headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts, mid-way between Providence, Rhode Island and Boston, Massachusetts. We have worked with clients in all major industries (Financial, Educational, Health, Auto, Insurance, etc) which allows us to understand your business needs and provide solutions that meet your envelope, print, fulfillment, and mail needs. We work with our valued customers to help evaluate and suggest ways to reduce printing and mailing costs, while improving the effectiveness of communications. We have been helping businesses of all sizes in Massachusetts and throughout New England since 1987. We handle all aspects of your print project so you don’t have to.

The History of BSE Print

Jim Skogseth and Russ Frizzell met in 1981 when Jim moved from Chicago and accepted a position as operations manager for Boston Envelope Company. Russ and Jim quickly found that they shared many interests beyond business and quickly became friends. When Boston Envelope failed in April 1987, the two men saw an opportunity and seized it. They leased 5,000 square feet of warehouse space in an old Textile building in Foxboro, Massachusetts and started what is now BSE.

Relying on the loyalty of Russ’ customers and Jim’s tenacious ability to get things done, the company conservatively grew, adding personnel from a talented pool of former co-workers. The company established a reputation for providing the very best in customer service, quality, and reliability.

Through the years BSE has remained part of the founding families. It is currently owned by Diana Skogseth. Diana has played an essential role as a leader and mentor at BSE. Since taking over as CEO in 2008 and purchasing the remaining ownership stake in BSE in 2014, she has pushed the company to diversify their products and services to meet customers’ needs. Overseeing Day-to-Day operations, Diana works closely with management to align the company goals and visions for future growth while preserving a family-like corporate culture. Constantly looking towards the future, Diana has repositioned BSE from a niche company into a leader in Printing Solutions.

BSE Print has always been concerned with their “Carbon Footprint” and its’ impact on the environment. For years, we have been recognized for our commitment to the following “Green Operation Principles”:

  • Our Ink Doser machine reduces ink waste by 80%
  • Our facilities and vehicles use energy efficient lighting and fuels
  • We print on a high percentage of recycled paper products
  • We choose eco-friendly vendors and suppliers

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy, also referred to as clean energy or green energy, is defined as ‘energy derived from resources that are regenerative, or for all practical purposes, cannot be depleted.’ The use of wind, water, and solar power are widespread in developed and developing countries. Mass production of electricity using renewable energy sources has become more commonplace, reflecting concern for climate change due to pollution as well as the social and political risks of using fossil fuels and nuclear power.

At BSE Print, we are committed to supporting renewable energy by offsetting our electricity consumption with wind power and other forms of renewable energy. This commitment reduces our environmental footprint, promotes cleaner air, and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels.
